What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

Are early check-in’s and late check-outs available?

Early check-in and late check-out’s are based on availability and may have an additional charge associated with the request.

Does the hotel have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. To avoid a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's stay, please cancel your reservation at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date.

Do you offer ADA-compliant rooms?

Yes, we offer ADA-compliant rooms equipped with features to ensure a comfortable stay for guests with disabilities. These rooms include accessible bathrooms, grab bars, visual alarms, and more. Please request an ADA room when making your reservation.

Where can I secure my valuables?

There are safes available in every guest room.

Do you have any smoking rooms?

Ada Hotel is a non-smoking hotel, per Michigan Law.  A fee of $250 will be applied to your room stay for smoking at Ada Hotel.

What is your policy on firearms?

For the safety and comfort of all our guests, firearms are not permitted on the property.

Is Ada Hotel pet-friendly?

Yes, we welcome pets! Guests are allowed to bring up to two pets per room, with a maximum weight limit of 55 pounds per pet. A non-refundable pet fee of $75 per stay applies. Pets may not be left unattended in rooms and pets are not permitted in hotel restaurants.

Additionally, pets must be leashed or kept in carriers when in public areas of the hotel. Please inform the front desk if you will be bringing pets with you.

Are there any pet amenities available?

We provide pet bowls and a pet bed upon request. There is also a designated pet relief area outside the hotel with waste disposal bags.

Is room service available?

No, room service is not an amenity we offer.  However, we do offer to-go food in The Post Tavern for lunch and dinner.

Does Ada Hotel have a pool or hot tub?

No, we do not have a pool or hot tub. However, we offer other amenities to enhance your stay, including a 24-hour fitness center and a comfortable lounge area, located on the 2nd Floor.

Is there a fitness center on-site?

Yes, our 24-hour fitness center is equipped with cardio machines, free weights, and exercise mats to help you maintain your fitness routine while traveling.

Do you offer parking?

Yes, valet parking is included in your hotel room rate.

Hotel Policies

To ensure the comfort and safety of all of our guests, the following policies will be strictly enforced during your visit:

  • Hotel quiet hours are from 10 p.m. through 7 a.m., nightly. Loud noise, music, voices, gathering in the corridors or excessive traffic in and out of guest rooms is not permitted and can result in eviction from the hotel without a refund. Noise levels should be at an acceptable level as judged by the other hotel guests and hotel security. If a noise complaint is received, we will only give one warning to quiet down. Receiving a second complaint may result in the guest being asked to leave with no refund given. 
  • Parents/chaperones are responsible for the conduct of their children/group members at all times. Must be 18 years of age and provide a credit card to check-in to Ada Hotel.
  • Shoes and shirts are always required in all public areas. 
  • The fitness center is for use by registered hotel guests only. 
  • Any guests found tampering with the hotel fire/emergency system will be subject to a minimum $1,000 fine. 
  • Smoking in any guest room or public area is strictly prohibited. If evidence of smoking is found in a guest room, a $250 cleaning fee will be applied, $500 cleaning fee for any suites. 
  • The hotel prohibits guests and visitors from carrying or otherwise possessing a firearm on hotel property, including carrying firearms in an open or concealed manner. The policy applies to all firearms regardless of whether it is a handgun or long barrel. We reserve the right to request guests and visitors who fail to abide by this policy to leave the hotel premises. Failure to leave will result in the Grand Rapids Police Department being contacted. This policy does not apply to law enforcement officers. 
  • The hotel and restaurants reserve the right to refuse the sale/service of alcoholic beverages to any individual at any time.
